Mouse on Mars

There was a mouse,
Who lived in a house
In the planet Mars,
Where there were no cars.

He rode a red bike,
Sometimes went for a hike,
To the Olympus Mons
Keeping in mind the pros and cons.

He always took some ropes,
He went in high hopes,
To reach the peak
Without being pecked by a beak.

At home he ate cheese,
On the terrace, in the breeze,
Read a newspaper which had a crease,
And rubbed on his bike's chain some grease.

He wanted some money,
So he sold some honey,
To a grizzly bear
Who was bored eating his pear

He grew his veggies, on the Marsian dust,
Which was so red, it looked like rust.
He grew a few carrots for the Rabbit,
Who also jumped about, since that was his habit.

He grew some spinach for the caterpillar,
Who ate in the attic and slept in the cellar.
He grew some flowers for the bees,
Because without them they'd wander in the trees.

All this homework earned him repose,
And if it didn't, he always had a dose.
This mouse on Mars,
Where there were no cars
Was extraordinary indeed,
To drink milk from jars.
